Sponsor a home
Costs for a single home range from $65,000 to $70,000. Home Sponsors provide funding and personnel. Other levels of participation include Co-Sponsor, Contributor, or Donor. If your group or organization is interested in participating in one of these programs to assist with constructing a home in Coles County, please contact us.
Gifts-in-kind
Donations of building materials or professional services help keep the costs of homes affordable for Coles County families. We accept donations of in-kind services and materials which are appropriate for short-term or long range needs. We are especially grateful for donations of lots suitable for building homes on one of the county's communities. Please contact us if you have services, skills or items to donate.
Corporate and Foundation
Local corporations and foundations provide grants and direct financial contributions to support Coles County Habitat. These contributions help to diversify our funding base and make our organization a true community endeavor.
Cash Contributions
We welcomes contributions in the form of checks and credit cards.
Checks should be made payable to Coles County Habitat for Humanity. Please download a gift form and send it with your payment to Coles County Habitat for Humanity, P.O. Box 945, Charleston, IL 61920.
Credit card contributions can be made online through the Habitat for Humanity International website. When filling out the form, all you need to do is give the name of our local affiliate (Coles County Habitat) and the payment will be credited to us. Donor Recognition Levels
We make every attempt to keep our donor lists accurate and acknowledge those contributions which do not result in a direct benefit to the donor. Coles County Habitat for Humanity has established the following levels to recognize a donor's annual cash contributions to the organization:
- Friend of Habitat ($99 or less)
- Supporter ($100 to $249)
- Groundbreaker ($250 to $499)
- Foundation Builder ($500 to $999)
- Framer ($1,000 to $2,499)
- Dream Maker ($2,500 to $9,999)
- Life Changer ($10,000 and above)
- Matching Gifts
- Memorial Tributes - use the form in Microsoft Word or Adobe Reader format
- Planned Giving
- Real Estate
- Stocks and Securities
