4 for the 4th Race 2019

4 for the 4th is a 4 mile run and 2 mile walk that Coles County Habitat for Humanity has been hosting since the era surrounding the Gulf War. Each year the top finishers for several categories, separated by gender, are announced in a short ceremony following the race. Morton Park, where Charleston's Red, White, and Blue Days take place at the same time each year, marks the starting and finishing line for the race. If you like running, walking, or even just a wholesome, family-friendly good time, join us for this event!

Habitat would like to thank all the athletes that came out for our race this year! We had over 150 participants!

**Registration begins around the middle of May each year and extends until the event begins.

4 for the 4th Race 2017

This year we had over 200 runners, walkers, volunteers, friends, and family members come out to support 4 for the 4th! Ivy Handley was the overall female first place finisher, and Riley McInerney was the overall male first place finisher. Riley has claimed this title for the seventh year straight! Thank you to everyone who came out to the park to support our mission. Below are some pictures from that day.
