Our Current Build

Habitat has finished our 45th family's home, for Delores Hall & James Black.  Welcome to the Habitat family!

CCHFH hosted the Groundbreaking for Holli Philiips and her two children in  March.  Holli selected a site in Charleston where their new home will be built. 

We would love for you or your organization to provide or make a lunch for our Saturday builds. This would be to feed our volunteers and partner family.

We typically build every Wednesdsay & Saturday (8 AM-2 PM) during April - November.

No skills or previous experience required.

To keep mortgages affordable for our families, Habitat partners with local businesses, churches, service clubs, etc. to become sponsors and donors of our homes.  Our generous sponsors make financial contributions that purchase construction materials like lumber, windows, and siding. Our donors provide professional services like roofing, electrical, drywall, as well as donate materials like trusses, countertops, lighting and landscaping. 

One of the most joyful days at Habitat is when our work is complete and we join together as friends, volunteers, leaders, donors and sponsors to welcome home our partner family. This is the day when we bless the home and the family, and hand over the keys. This day symbolizes all that Habitat stands for and the reason we exist.
