Volunteering with Coles County Habitat for Humanity is a fun and rewarding experience. No construction knowledge or skills necessary and we’ll provide all the tools and training you need.  Volunteers must be 16 years or older.  

Bring your company, team, organization or school for a day of volunteering and fun. Your group can make an important contribution to Habitat’s mission of building and repairing homes in partnership with families in need.

Do you like to cook? It’s hard to build on an empty stomach. Our meal donors are a big part of keeping our crew going. If you have a serving heart but low on time, you can always provide a meal from one of our local businesses. 

Each homeowner family is assigned a volunteer support team that provides individualized support and encouragement as well as serves as a resource, mentor, and mediator throughout the program. 

We are always looking for volunteers to share their expertise, connections, and passion to serve on our committees that plan and maintains Habitat’s programs. From Finance to Construction, Family Selection to Family Support, there is something for everyone.

Coles County Habitat holds several fundraising events each year. Join a planning committee or volunteer an event. Don't be shy!

Directors lead Habitat on strategic planning, grow the organization's network, make policy decisions and make yearly financial contributions.
