Welcome Home Stacey, Kyia & Kali

 In October 2020, Coles County Habitat completed our 40th home for our newest family, Stacey Cooper and her two precious daughters, Kyia & Kali. We had a small, but special house blessing with Stacey's family and a few Habitat leaders. 

A very heartfelt thanks to our amazing, regular volunteers and construction site supervisor, Zach Whitley, for their incredible dedication in completing this home!  Because of COVID, just 10 volunteers built this home in only 4 months. Their selfless commitment to working every week, sometimes several days each week, for 4 months, is the reason Stacey and her girls are now living in their home.  We are forever grateful for their service to Habitat and our families!

Coles County Habitat for Humanity (CCHFH) is delighted to announce our 40th partner family, Stacey Cooper. Stacey grew up in the central Illinois area and has lived in Mattoon for the past four years. She is employed at Justrite Manufacturing in Mattoon. Stacey is a single mother of two precious daughters, Kyia and Kali. 

Stacey expressed how blessed she feels for the opportunity to be selected as a Habitat family. She also said her girls are super excited to have their own rooms.
